Doug has been in real estate, working for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, since 2001. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Arizona is a leading residential real estate brokerage company and operates 26 offices with nearly 1,500 sales associates throughout the state. The Company is part of NRT LLC, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company. He has remained with Coldwell Banker as an Associate Broker because this company has the right blend of resources, industry connections, and awareness-building marketing tools to raise his client’s property profile and extend its curb appeal to the furthest corners of today’s global economy. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage also has the resources and continuing education to help him maintain a high-level of knowledge about the market which gives him the resources he needs to assist his buyers in making the right decision when purchasing a home.
Doug has lived in the Valley since 1994 and currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Kirsten, and daughter, Sarah, who is a student at Arizona State University. He also has two sons, Joshua and Andrew, and a daughter, Sydney, who is attending Northern Arizona University. He is active in his church and enjoys volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House which houses the families of sick children at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Doug is a member of Masterminds of Arizona, a housing market creative intelligence and directive group that consists of Phoenix’s top-producing and most influential agents. Doug is also active with the local real estate board, the Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors (SEVRAR). Currently, he is the Chair of the Leadership Program at SEVRAR, and is a member of the board’s Professional Standards Committee.
Doug is very familiar with the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, with an emphasis on the East Valley (Ahwatukee, Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Maricopa), Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, and Scottsdale. He and his team, The Hill Group, have been honored as Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s No. 1 agents in the East Valley on numerous occassions, No. 1 for the entire state of Arizona in 2009, as well as their office’s No. 1 agents since 2002. In 2010, Doug made The Wall Street Journal’s list of Top 100 Agents in the nation, and was voted as having one of the Top 20 real estate teams by the Phoenix Business Journal. Several of The Hill Group’s posts on The Phoenix Real Estate Blog have been selected by REALTOR.com to be featured in the “Ask a REALTOR” section of their website. Doug Hill was even featured in an episode of HGTV’s “House Hunters” in September 2010.
Also indicative of Doug’s impact on the national residential sales market, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s parent company, NRT Corporation, has named him and his team to its Top 1,000 Sales Associates list for every quarter in 2009 and 2010. NRT Corporation currently comprises approximately 48,000 sales associates. The Hill Group has also been honored with one of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s highest awards, the International President’s Elite, every year from 2004 to 2008, and won the company’s next higher award, International President’s Premier, in 2009 and 2010.
